Preparing your abstract for submission
Abstract Format
- Abstract Title - The title should clearly identify the contents of the abstract. Please enter your abstract title in sentence case, i.e. capitalise only the first letter of the title and then any proper names or acronyms.
- Abstract Text - Your abstract should be divided into: Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusions. This is important for the review process. A maximum of 300 words is permitted.
- Language - Authors should ensure that the abstract is written in acceptable, standard English. Authors whose native language is not English are urged to have an English-speaking colleague review the abstract before sending it.
- One delegate may be listed as author on more than one abstract, but should be presenter only on one. The system will restrict submission per contact to one abstract. If you wish to submit other abstracts that name you as co-author, please ask the presenter to complete a separate submission or contact the organisers by email.
- All submitted contributions will be peer-reviewed by an expert panel.
- Authors will be notified of the review outcome by email by 2 December 2024
- All presenting authors must register and pay to attend the Conference by 16 December 2024. Acceptance of abstracts for inclusion in the programme is dependent upon receipt of registration. Authors not registered by this date will have their abstract withdrawn from the programme.
- Although individuals can submit more than one abstract, they must only be a presenter on one.
We are pleased to offer a limited number of travel grants to support Students and Early Career Researchers who submit an abstract. The number of grants and the funding amount per grant are yet to be determined but all interested applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
Eligibility and Application Process
Applications for travel grants will be evaluated based on potential impact and contribution to the conference goals alongside your institution’s support. Details regarding eligibility criteria, application deadlines, and required documentation will be provided soon.
