Hosted by: Head Safe Football, the only UK charity delivering HeadSAFE education to share information about the risks of head impacts, in collaboration with the international Neurotrauma Society and TBI-REPORTER.
This event will bring together the world's leading brain injury neuroscientists and clinicians, football coaches, ex-professional players and recreational players to showcase the English Football Associations recent U9 rule changes regarding heading and the science behind the decision.
Come along any time that you have availability. You don’t need to be a footballer.
Registration will take place from 2pm until 5.30pm on Sunday 1st September in the Corn Exchange.
Once registered why not enjoy one of our complimentary walking tours?
The best way to see Cambridge is on foot. Better still, walk with someone who has local and historical knowledge of Cambridge, one of the most fascinating cities in the UK. Discover insider stories about the city that you likely wouldn't uncover alone.
We will be organising a number of tours throughout the afternoon. Come and explore Cambridge with your colleagues and get to know the City.
Pre-booking is advised and details will be emailed to all delegates.
The world-famous King’s College will host the Welcome Reception, a venue that perfectly befits the importance of NeuroTrauma 2024.
Delegates will be treated to an exceptional experience against the backdrop of the iconic King’s College Chapel, which took around 100 years to build.
Drinks and canapes will be served on the lawn (weather permitting).
We look forward to welcoming you in style!
You will then have the evening free to choose from a number of local restaurants to dine in. Booking in advance is advised and please check as some restaurants are closed on a Monday. We have listed a selection here.

The organisers of Neurotrauma 2024 have secured exclusive access to three of Cambridge’s most historic, riverside Colleges for the Gala Dinner: St John’s College, Trinity Hall and Clare College. We are delighted to extend an invitation to you all to join us for what will be a very special evening…
Stepping into the dining hall of a Cambridge College is like stepping into a living piece of history. The traditions, architecture, and ambiance provide a unique and memorable dining experience where you can tread in the steps of Cambridge’s famous Alumni. A bespoke menu, featuring the very best of local produce, has been expertly crafted by the Colleges’ skilled in-house teams to be served across all three venues, accompanied with fine wines from the College cellars.
Pre-dinner drinks will be served in the stunning surroundings of the Colleges’ immaculate gardens, all set alongside the famous River Cam, which will provide an enchanting backdrop as we begin our celebrations.
The Gala Dinner is a more formal event (smart dress) giving visitors the opportunity to experience a traditional college dinner in one of the iconic dining halls chosen for their architectural beauty and historic importance.
Tickets cost £90 and will be sold on a first come, first served basis via the registration system.
