Welcome Reception

The Cambridge Union will host the Welcome Reception (drinks and canapes) in the Library & Fairfax Rhodes Rooms on the evening of Wednesday 23 October 2024. 

The Welcome Reception will follow Day 1 sessions held at the same venue. All delegates are welcome.

Gala Dinner

The gala dinner will be held in the Hall of Fitzwilliam College on the evening Thursday 24 October.

Fitzwilliam College is a modern, welcoming community committed to developing the talents of all its 750 undergraduate and postgraduate students. One of 31 Cambridge colleges, Fitzwilliam College were founded in 1869 specifically to broaden access to the University of Cambridge. 

The evening will start with a welcome drink, followed by a traditional Cambridge set 3-course meal in the College Hall. Expect surprises with live entertainment and dancing following dinner! 

Exact times will be confirmed soon. Coach transfer will be arranged between the conference hotel, Hilton City Centre, and Fitzwilliam College, with return shuttles via the same route at the end of the evening. 

Tickets
The gala dinner is included in the delegate registration fee.
Accompanying person dinner tickets may be released closer to the event, depending on demand.

Fitzwilliam College can be accessed via the Porter's Lodge on Storey's Way or the unmanned gate off Huntingdon Road. Google Map location.
