Don't miss the opportunity, join us in Cambridge!

On behalf of the organising committee we are delighted to invite you to attend the 5th International Conference on Innate Lymphoid Cells (ILC5) to be held at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) in Cambridge, United Kingdom between July 15th – 17th 2024. The theme of ILC5 is “Tissue-Educated Immunity” and in addition to world leading experts and Keynote speakers we hope you will join us to contribute to an exciting discussion of ILC biology across niches, organs and biological systems. In addition to offering an excellent scientific programme we host networking opportunities across the historic Cambridge campus.

The aim of the 5th International Conference on Innate Lymphoid Cells (ILC5) is “Tissue-Educated Immunity”. We hope the meeting will provide an exciting and interactive opportunity to share the latest conceptual advances and innovations in ILCs and innate lymphocytes across the spectrum of health and disease. Technological advances are rapidly increasing our understanding of the role of ILCs and innate lymphocytes in situ. Embracing an appreciation of the tissue microenvironment and cellular niches across a range of organs in humans and animal models we are beginning to gain new insights into how ILC communicate with different cellular lineages and diverse biological systems to determine tissue immunity, with unprecedent resolution. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from world-leading experts and contribute to defining the state-of-the-art across a wide range of biological functions of this family of innate lymphocytes.

This website will be updated regularly to provide you with more information on the meeting but general enquiries are also welcome at ILC5@opening-doors.org.uk

We look forward to welcoming you!

Yours Sincerely,
ILC5 Organising Committee

ILC5 is kindly hosted by the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB)

In early 2013 the LMB moved into its current, purpose-built building, which has been specifically designed to provide the right environment in which innovative medical research, translation and collaboration can flourish.

The building provides first class facilities to some of the world’s leading scientists. In addition, as a key component in the development of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, the LMB is located at the hub of one of the largest and most internationally competitive concentrations of healthcare-related talent and enterprise in Europe.
