Speaker Registration

Speakers will be sent an invitation to register with a bespoke link to their presentation information by 25 March. Please do not use the delegate links below.

If you haven't received your invitation email by this date please email araconference@opening-doors.org.uk.

WARNING! FAKE Reservation Service trying to SCAM conference speakers!

We have become aware of a scam where an organisation is pretending to be the designated travel agency for the conference organisers and is emailing invited speakers. If you receive emails from Travelhosting(dot)co(dot)uk, please be careful. The email includes a link to pay for accommodation by credit card.

Please ignore the emails and do not reply nor click on any link given by them. You can also block the domain on your email client.

This company is NOT a service partner of ARA. The appointed ARA conference organisers team (Madalina, Celia, Kate or Rose from Opening Doors & Venues) will email you from the domain @opening-doors.org.uk. The only way to book ARA speaker accommodation is via the link in emails sent from the domain @opening-doors.org.uk. If you are in doubt at any point, please email us on ARAconference@opening-doors.org.uk or phone our office on +44 (0) 1562 731 788.

Please be assured that there has been no data breach at ARA or ODV. If any speaker receives an email like this it would just be a random scam and not the result of anyone's email address being stolen / leaked etc.

Delegate Registration

Delegate registration for the ARA Conference 2024 is now open via the link at the bottom of this page. We accept online registrations only for the event, via this website. Both individual and group (2-5 people) registrations can be submitted via the this site. Please read the information below before proceeding to registration.

Corporate Membership
ARA Institutional Affiliate (corporate) membership allows for three staff members to attend one event at the member rate, after they have used their allocation all other non-member staff bookings will pay the non-member rate.

Early Bird Fees are valid until Wednesday 1 May (midnight, UK time).

Speakers

If you are a speaker, you will receive your personalised registration invitation from the organisers soon, which will include instructions on how to book your place. Please do not use the registration form on this site a speaker.

Sponsors & Exhibitors

Sponsors and exhibitors will also receive separate registration instructions in due course.

Organising Committee/Staff

The organisers will be in touch directly to facilitate your registration accordingly.

Accepted payment methods

By card

Our preferred payment method is online by credit/debit card at point of registration.

Alternative

If you/your organisation are unable to make online card payments, we can arrange bank transfer payments on receipt of invoice. If this is the case, please contact araconference@opening-doors.org.uk before beginning your registration

The currency for this conference is GBP.

Membership number

If registering as a member, please make sure you have your membership number handy before beginning your registration. For membership enquiries please contact Lorraine Logan on +44 (0) 1823 327077 and select Option 1, or email membership@archives.org.uk.

Confirmation emails going to spam?

Please note that automatic confirmation emails may go to spam folders initially. If needed, please whitelist the following domain with your provider: opening-doors.org.uk to ensure our emails reach you safely.

Accompanying person / guest

Accompanying person tickets for the social functions can be added on request. Please complete your individual registration first, then email us with the guest's details (full name, dietary and access requirements) and which social functions they are joining. We will manually add the tickets for you and send a separate invoice with payment details.

Filming & Photography

Please be aware that our photographer will be taking photos throughout the event. We intend to use some of these photos for ARA’s marketing promotion and rely on our legitimate interests to do so. If you wish to view photos taken of yourself or prefer that you do not appear in any such material, please contact the organisers on ARAconference@opening-doors.org.uk
