Alistair Brown
Head of Museums, Libraries and Archives Policy at the National Lottery Heritage Fund
Alistair leads the Heritage Fund’s policy on archives, museums and libraries and across the UK, and has supported the Fund’s delivery of a wide range of projects in the sector, including the Fund’s recent Dynamic Collections campaign. Prior to working at the Heritage Fund, Alistair was the Policy Manager for the Museums Association where he led on a range of policy initiatives including the review of the Code of Ethics for Museums, the delivery of the Museums Change Lives campaign, and a series of successful sector advocacy campaigns. He has also previously worked in cultural and regional policy roles for the Scottish Government and the European Commission. Thursday 29th August
Zak Mensah
Co-CEO Birmingham Museums
Zak is Co-CEO jointly responsible for setting the direction for Birmingham Museums as part of the executive. Zak is excited about helping people to make a ruckus. Zak has been a freelancer, staff development officer, Head of Digital, and Head of Transformation. In addition to helping his own organisation, Zak shares his skills and expertise as a regular public speaker and trustee of the Association for Cultural Enterprises and Culture 24.

Lorraine Finch
Director of LFCP
Lorraine is director of LFCP, which is accelerating the cultural heritage sector’s climate and environmental actions through research, knowledge sharing and resource creation. She is also a sustainability leader who advocates on the international stage for sustainability in cultural heritage participating in conferences, leading workshops and training, publishing books and articles and collaborating with leaders in the field in the USA and Europe. In recognition of her role as founder and Chair of the Institute of Conservation’s Sustainability Network, she was presented with a David Middleton Sustainability Award. She is also a Director of Climate Museum UK and an accredited conservator of archives, photographs, film and sound
