The conference will take place in the Auditorium, St George's, Bristol on Saturday 14 October 2023, from where it will also be live streamed. This will be followed by a gala dinner at the Wills Memorial Building, only a 5 minute walk away . 

Auditorium, St George's Hall - Main Conference Venue

St George’s Bristol is a world-class, independent music venue in the heart of Bristol. The 580-seat concert hall was converted from a 200-year-old Georgian church, and is a truly special space where the finest performances from the world’s greatest artists are welcomed. During the day, it is the perfect location for events and conferences in the heart of the city.

Approach the venue either via Great George Street for the Box Office entrance, or via Charlotte Street for step-free access.

The Great Hall, Wills Memorial Building - Dinner Venue

The Wills Memorial Building & Tower at the top of Park Street is a Bristol icon and makes a dramatic and inspiring venue. A sweeping double stone staircase and carved stone vaulted ceiling leads to the impressive Great Hall and Reception Room, which has carved oak panelled walls and lead windows. 

The Gala Dinner is scheduled to start at 19:30 with welcome drinks. The evening will finish at 11:45pm. There will be music and dancing.  Additional fees are applicable and pre-booking is required. 

Alternative starters and/or main meals will be served for pre-confirmed dietary requirements, as relevant. Please note you will not be able to choose a menu preference on the night.

Getting Here

Arriving by rail

The nearest main train station is Bristol Temple Meads, approximately 1.2 miles away. This is approximately a half-hour walk.

The nearest local train station is Clifton Down, approximately 1 mile away. This is approximately a 25 minute walk.

There are plenty of public transport links between both stations and St George’s Bristol including buses and taxis.


Arriving by road

If you are coming to Bristol via the M4, leave at junction 19, exit onto M32 towards Bristol. Continue on Newfoundland Circus/A4032. Take B4051 to Great George St.

Parking: there is metered on-street parking on Great George Street and Charlotte Street. The nearest car parks are on Trenchard Street, College Street, and Millennium Square.

Arriving by Air

Bristol International Airport is approximately 9 miles away (roughly 20 minutes’ drive, or an hour by public transport). There are regular shuttle buses between the Airport and various stops in Bristol city centre.


Arriving by Coach

Bristol Bus & Coach Station on Cannon Street is served by several national coach companies including National Express. Coach companies including Megabus have stops in the city centre. The coach station is within easy  walking distance of both venues.
