Venue: Spaces at the Spine Building Liverpool

The conference will take place at the RCP's new home in the North, the Spine, Liverpool.

Spaces at the Spine is an award-winning conference, meeting and event venue in central Liverpool. Its name derives from the striking geometric staircase to the north of the building, inspired by the form of the human vertebrae. Being the highest viewpoint in Liverpool, it boasts panoramic views across Liverpool City Centre and beyond, with an impressive internal biophilic sky garden with high oxygen-producing plants, which reconnect people with nature, creating a productivity-enhancing environment.

The Spine has been built according to the principles that make up the WELL Standard, making it the healthiest building in the North West and one of the healthiest in the UK. The venue has ergonomic, modern and intelligent spaces showcasing the best-in-class connectivity and agile audio-visual systems.

The Voronoi pattern exists on the exterior wrap of the building and it is one of the elements that make The Spine unique in its genre. It is symbolic of structure, nature and biophilia, elements that aim to improve the wellbeing of those who work and visit The Spine. This is combined with the shape of the building, and broken up into the key districts in the heart of Liverpool.

All revenue generated by events held at the Spine helps fund many important activities that the Royal College of Physicians is involved in, including its leading role in the delivery of high-quality patient care.
