Continuous Improvement Lead at University of Cambridge, Chair of LeanHE North and Midlands and member of the European and Global Steering Groups
Linda has worked at the University of Cambridge since 2004 both as a Business Analyst and more recently as Continuous Improvement Lead within the Change and Programme Management Office. She is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, an LCS accredited trainer, and has been delivering training in continuous improvement to staff across the collegiate University since 2017. In addition to this, she has worked with many teams to help them improve their processes.
She is an active member of the LeanHE Global community, as Chair of the North and Midlands and a member of European and Global steering groups and by presenting at conferences. She has contributed chapters to the books "Global Lean for Higher Education - A Themed Anthology of Case Studies, Approaches, and Tools" (Yorkstone), and "Hoshin Kanri in Higher Education - A Guide to Strategy Development, Deployment, and Management" (Balzer and Sinha).

Emma Rampton joined Cambridge in 2015 as Academic Secretary. After serving as Acting Registrary from January 2017 (following the retirement of Jonathan Nicholls) she was appointed Registrary from 1 October 2017.
Before Cambridge, Emma worked at the University of Oxford. She was there for over ten years, first as the Head of Administration in the Faculty of Law and latterly as Deputy University Secretary, a role in which she had responsibility for overseeing the University’s governance, compliance and assurance processes. Emma graduated from St John’s College, Oxford, after which she qualified as a lawyer.

Steve enables continuous improvement in Edinburgh Napier University, where he works as an internal consultant. In his role he facilitates and runs interventions, from "process reviews" to more tailored workshops; and delivers support and advice informally and formally in terms of consultancy, coaching and training.
Externally to the University he chairs Lean HE, the international organisation for continuous improvement in universities and coaches senior leaders in facilitation and change. He sits as Secretary on the Board of the International Association of Facilitators. In previous roles he has worked with a number of Universities, including establishing the 'Lean team' in the University of St Andrews where he co-designed the Lean 'St Andrews Model' and established their internationally successful consultancy service.
In 2016 he authored "Lean Universities" in the Shingo Prize Winning 'Routledge Companion to Lean Management'. He edited the book 'Global Lean for Higher Education: A Themed Anthology of Case Studies, Approaches, and Tools' published 2019.
