Archive Service Accreditation has been through a process of review and refresh since its 10th anniversary, to meet the archive sector’s increasing focus on areas such as inclusion, environmental sustainability and digital preservation delivery, and the evolving requirements of archive audiences. This workshop is designed to support Accredited Archive Services and those considering an application to understand and embed the changes which have been agreed, ahead of implementation for applications in 2026. Attendees will become familiar with the programme updates and how these apply to archive services of all types and sizes. It will be a chance to reflect on themes emerging within the wider conference, bringing them to bear on your own archive service.
